Hand in Hand

I was invited to create an interactive installation and performance for the Flavas festival in Peckham Square,
South London.

Throughout the day, I cast people’s hands in bread, baking them on site, and used these to create an installation, which developed during the day. The hands ‘grew’ from a carpet of grass and at the end of the day, we held a mass hand eating performance where everyone got the chance to eat their own hand.
